"If everybody is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking."       -George S. Patton

...and the busy season continues!

Coming up on May 10th we will have many of our students and their guests attending the prom. Once again, Toni and Scott have helped to "create a memory" for our students that they can remember for years to come. Thank-you to all faculty members who have volunteered to chaperon this event.

Math MCAS will take place on May 13th and 14th. As a reminder, seniors will be arriving late on those days and shop breaks in the cafeteria will be cancelled. Thank-you all for your cooperation with this very important testing session.

On May 15th, the Arrive Alive Drunk Driving and Texting Simulator will be here. Stay tuned for further details about how your students may participate in this worthwhile activity.

Professional Development

A reminder for anyone who is proposing a professional development project for PDP's. The proposal form is available in the high school office. In order to receive PDP's for a project, your proposal must be written and accepted. Thanks!

May 10th

At 12:00 noon, all vocational teachers will meet in the Lecture Hall with Deb. Also at noon, all academic teachers will meet in the Library for proctor training.

Department meetings will follow the vocational and academic meetings. Department meetings should include "finalizing" final exams, gathering NEASC evidence and updating course syllabi for NEASC submission.

In the Library, following proctor training, there will be a meeting for anyone interested in helping to develop an activity calendar for the 2013-2014 school year. Any teacher who is interested in having an activity or activities added to the calendar should plan to join the guidance counselors and administrators for any/all of the meeting.

There will be a faculty meeting for all teachers in the Lecture Hall at 1:45 p.m.

Enjoy your week-end!
Margaret
